After School Club
Parental Involvement

Playgroup- for children aged two years six months to five years, running ten sessions per week, for 50 weeks a year - closed on Bank Holidays. Catering for 32 children per session, with a full range of activities.Honeycroft 3 - for pre-playgroup children who have, or whose parents have, a special need. Children are encouraged to take part in playgroup activities as well as having specialised equipment from the SNIP toy library.
Coffee Area - is available all the time for all Honeycroft’s parents and visitors.
Soft Play - We have a Soft play room for the children to use. It contains a large ball pool and many loose soft items. It is only limited by a child’s imagination.
Sensory Room(Adam’s Room) - This room providesa stimulating experience for any child of anyability with its magical worldof lights and sounds. Parents can bookand share this experience withtheir child.
Resource and Toy Library - containing lots oftoysand information for families with special needs. The toylibraryis open Mondays from 10am. to 2pm. Fridays the same, and Wednesdaysfrom 12pm.to 2pm.
IT Room- We have an IT room for parents to access. The computers have windows 95. Great for up dating C.Vs.and assignments.
We are hoping to provide the facilities for the Internet and a accredited course very soon.

Involvement Opportunities - for parents who wishto become involved in any aspect of Honeycroft.
Training -for staff, parents and allthose interested in childcare. Includedin this will be the encouragementof other playgroups to accept childrenwith “special needs”.
Free Courses - providedby the WEA Workers Education Association. Depending on funding andresources, the WEA access the centre to offer free taster courses and crechefacilities.
Volunteers - Honeycroft has successfully recieved 'Get Active' funding to employ a volunteers co-ordinator to recruit, develop and support volunteers accessing the centre.
Clubs & Actvities - check the notice board regularly to keep updated on extra activities run during the evenings. From aerobics to aromatherapy.
??????????? - Honeycroft Under 5’s Centre is there for the children and their parents/carer.
The developments depend on their needs and interests.
